Our Puffed Chair is a playful design that implies inflation. Made of Spalted Beech, the chair's wide curving surfaces were accentuated to best display the characterful timber. The spalting is the result of a fungi colonising the tree for nutrients, leaving behind marks throughout the wood’s grain. A natural, chance occurrence is immortalised by the timber's use in furniture. A limited edition design, it is 1 of 4 chairs included in our Of Nature collection.
