Biography

With roots in London and New York, the studio was founded in 2020 by Grant Wilkinson & Teresa Rivera combining their collective experience in fine art, furniture-making and design.

Founders

Grant Wilkinson
Co founder

Born in Kent, Grant earned a Bachelor’s of Art degree from Camberwell College of Art (London). With over 10 years of woodworking experience, his past work ranges from fine furniture to construction for TV & film. Process and material serve as guides to his meticulous approach to design.

Teresa Rivera
Co founder

Born in New York, Teresa earned a Fine Art degree in Painting & Sculpture from Tyler School of Art (Philadelphia). As an interior designer, she cut her teeth in the London design scene. Her training in fine art, manufacturing, and design allows for a comprehensive understanding of aesthetics, absent from binding styles or trends.

Design

At its core, the studio is a creative collaboration guided by materiality and traditional processes. Striving to create tomorrow’s heirlooms, by celebrating excellence in craft.
